TNA Impact Wrestling on Thursday, March 29 scored a 1.05 rating off a first hour 1.07 rating and second hour 1.03 rating.

The show peaked in the third quarter-hour with a 1.11 rating for a segment with multiple promos, then bottomed-out at the top of the second hour with a 0.99 rating in the fifth quarter-hour. The show then concluded with 1.02 and 1.06 quarter-hour ratings.

First Hour Break Down

Q1: Impact opened with a 1.07 rating for Robert Roode and Sting having an in-ring confrontation, plus one commercial break. (down 9.1% vs. 2011-Q1 average)

Q2: Impact was essentially even with a 1.06 rating for Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne, one commercial, and the first-half of Dixie Carter talking to Hulk Hogan in a pre-taped segment. (down 8.3% vs. 2011-Q2 average)

Q3: Impact peaked for the show with a 1.11 rating for the end of Hogan/Dixie, various talking segments, including an Austin Aries promo, and one commercial break. (down 4.8% vs. 2011-Q3 average)

Q4: Impact dipped to a first-hour-low 1.02 rating for Matt Morgan vs. Crimson, one commercial break, and Abyss...er...Joseph Park on the search for his brother. (down 9.3% vs. 2011-Q4 average)

Second Hour Break Down

Q5: Impact opened with a show-low 0.99 rating. This is typically TNA's highest-rated quarter-hour of the show, but for the second week out of the last three weeks, Q5 scored a 0.99 rating, the lowest of 2011 and 2012. The segment featured Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson, one commercial, and various pre-taped segments. (down 19.6% vs. 2011-Q5 average)

Q6: Impact showed slight movement to a 1.03 rating for a Bischoff Family talking segment and one commercial break. (down 11.2% vs. 2011-Q6 average)

Q7: Impact was essentially flat with a 1.02 rating for the first-half of the TV main event of Bobby Roode & James Storm vs. Austin Aries & James Storm, plus one commercial. (down 10.5% vs. 2011-Q7 average)

Q8: Impact increased slightly to a second-hour-high 1.06 rating for the second-half of the tag main event, one commercial, and Hulk Hogan accepting the GM position in a promo with Dixie Carter. (down 10.0% vs. 2011-Q8 average)

Caldwell's Analysis: The whole show was down compared to 2011 and 2012 averages, but the notable segments were down double-digit percentages compared to the 2011 averages. Impact simply has no momentum.
