Backstage Notes from the Tuesday, June 14 TNA Impact Wrestling TV taping for the Thursday, June 23 episode

-- Former WWE wrestler Luke Gallows (a/k/a Festus) received a try-out match prior to the Impact taping.

Since his WWE release in November 2010, Gallows has been working on the independent circuit in the U.S. and working in Japan using a Stan Hansen gimmick.

-- Dakota Darsow, the son of former WWE wrestler Barry Darsow (Demolition Smash and the Repo Man), wrestled a match for Impact. Dakota was in WWE's developmental system three years ago.

-- Former WWE wrestlers Shawn Daivari and Aaron Aguilera were backstage at the Impact tapings, but not for TNA. According to sources, they are believed to be part of the All Wheels Wrestling promotion, which has its first taping on June 29 after the next set of Impact TV tapings. It's been confirmed TNA's Jeff Jarrett is backing the project.

-- One of the top matches set for the Destination X PPV is A.J. Styles vs. Daniels vs. Samoa Joe. On the X Division-themed PPV, TNA is attempting to re-capture magic from six years ago at the Unbreakable PPV in September 2005.

-- Jerry Lynn was backstage at the TV taping as part of TNA bringing in former and new X Division wrestlers leading up to Destination X. Lynn was one of the original X Division wrestlers when the company was founded nine years ago.

-- Miss Jackie returned to the promotion for a Knockouts tag match that will air next week.
