The following are news and notes from TNA's Lockdown PPV on April 17.

-- A.J. Styles made his TV return to help Fortune defeat Immortal in the main event Lethal Lockdown cage match. Styles was temporarily written off TV via an injury angle at the hands of Bully Ray in March.

-- Mickie James captured the TNA Knockouts Title from Madison Rayne in a match that went less than one minute. It was the only title change on the PPV.

-- Sting retained the TNA World Title over Mr. Anderson and Rob Van Dam in an eight-minute title match that was placed in the semi-main event slot. During the match, Hulk Hogan came to ringside to try to help RVD, who turned down Hogan's offer. Sting then pinned Anderson with the Scorpion Deathdrop.

-- TNA continued to hint at a Sting vs. Hogan match down the line. Hogan teased entering the cage after Sting's title retention, but indicated the "match" would happen on "his time."

-- Jeff Jarrett beat Kurt Angle in a two-out-of-three falls match with outside interference from Karen Angle. Angle used an RKO during the match, which Angle commented on following the PPV.

"Orton, I used Your Finish as a sign of Respect. Not to get back at U. Respect!" Angle said on Twitter, referencing their back-and-forth exchange after WrestleMania when Orton used the Angle Slam.

-- Max Buck became #1 contender to the X Division Title by winning the opening Ultimate Xscape match over seven other X Division wrestlers. Buck's title match against current champion Kazarian will be announced at a later time.
