TNA wrestler Kurt Angle says he would consider returning to WWE when his TNA contract expires six months from now.

"My contract's up in August. I'm going to keep the option open," Angle told Mauro Ranallo on the Fight Show satellite radio show on Thursday. "I like TNA. I like being there. I like that the company has built the last four-and-a-half years since I've been there. I don't have any plans of leaving, but I don't think Kevin Nash and Booker T had plans of jumping either."

Angle added, "They were actually, until a couple days before the (Royal) Rumble, signed with TNA. In essence, they asked for their release at the last second and TNA gave them their wish. I'm going to do what's best for Kurt Angle and they've treated me well here."

Compare that to TNA president Dixie Carter's comment in her Fan Q&A posted on Thursday. "Booker was not available for any MEM angle," Carter said. "Kevin Nash was under contract with TNA and was just recently released for reasons I will not disclose."

-- Angle was asked a few times about the TV angle with Jeff Jarrett and Karen, his ex-wife. Angle said it's a "touchy subject," which was as much as he would reveal about his feelings on the angle. He opted to play up the "worked shoot" nature of what's shown on TV.

-- Angle promoted TNA's talent roster and said he believes the key is consistently featuring top stars on the one weekly TV show they have.

"We have a stacked roster. We can't put everybody on a TV show. So, you're not seeing a lot of the talent week after week," Angle said. "I think they're going to have to be more consistent about keeping the top talent in there."

-- Angle was on the radio show to promote his line of Angle Foods products. He said his company is working on retail store distribution for later this year.

-- Regarding his fiancee giving birth to their child two weeks ago, Angle said they had a "little bit of a scare and my fiancee had a few complications," but he says "everything went okay." He added that the baby is healthy after the premature birth.

Caldwell's Analysis: This isn't the first time Angle has floated the idea of returning to WWE before ultimately reaffirming his commitment to TNA and Dixie Carter. Based on the health issues Angle has battled recently, WWE would have to be concerned about adding him back to the roster.
