The following are news and notes from Monday's TV taping in Orlando, Fla., which was for the Thursday, September 16 episode of Impact with fall-out from the No Surrender PPV.

-- The main event of Impact will be Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy in a re-match from No Surrender, which fits TNA's booking philosophy to immediately give away a strong PPV match on free TV.

The finish will be another non-finish, setting up the expected three-way match of Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy for the vacant TNA World Title at the Bound for Glory PPV.

-- Regarding the Tag Title match change at No Surrender, the popular belief backstage among many of the TNA wrestlers was that Desmond Wolfe failed a physical due to head trauma/concussion history. It's the same issue that reportedly led to WWE reneging their offer to Wolfe (then known as Nigel McGuinness) in late 2009, leading to Wolfe signing with TNA.

Wolfe and Magnus were scheduled to challenge the Motor City Machineguns for the TNA Tag Titles. TNA announced on Sunday afternoon that Wolfe and Magnus were pulled from the PPV and replaced with Generation Me. The Guns retained the titles, but started a program with GenMe that will carry to Impact.

-- As we reported during the TV taping, the X Division Title changed hands to Jay Lethal in a match against incumbent champion Doug Williams.

-- From the "where are they now?" department, Eric Young and Orlando Jordan continue to be booked for Xplosion as a tag team. Also, Rob Terry was not at the TV taping with TNA currently having nothing for him creatively.

-- Hulk Hogan remained in a Florida hospital on Monday night and missed the TV taping. It does not appear likely that he will be able to make this week's TV tapings after being hospitalized with reported "excruciating back pain." Hogan's latest video from his hospital bed is below.
