Thursday night's episode of TNA Impact returning to their previous Thursday night timeslot scored a 0.9 rating and the average viewership over the course of two hours was 1.28 million viewers.

Impact was up more than one-tenth of a ratings point compared to the last Monday night show on March 3, which scored a 0.78 rating.

The last Thursday night episode, which was on March 4, averaged a 1.14 rating. TNA still has plenty of ground to make up in the Thursday night timeslot trying to rebuild the audience.

Looking at the average rating on Thursday nights in-between the January 4 test-run on Monday nights and the official move to Monday nights on March 8, Impact averaged a 1.22 rating in the previous Thursday night timeslot.

This week's Impact, with the 0.9 rating, is about 25 percent off the pace compared to the average of the first-run episodes on Thursday nights in 2010.

Caldwell's Analysis: An okay start for TNA returning to Thursday nights. They still have plenty of ground to make up, which was expected after the multiple timeslot changes to start 2010. The audience will need some time to find TNA again and it didn't help they were up against the heavily, heavily, heavily hyped Cavaliers vs. Celtics NBA Playoffs game, which drew nearly 9.0 million viewers. That didn't help TNA's cause. We'll get a better read next week, as there will not be an NBA Playoffs game up against Impact next Thursday, and TNA will be coming off a PPV.
