Former TNA Knockout Melissa Anderson (Cheerleader Melissa, Alisha Flash, Raisha Saeed) says her departure from TNA was a "mutual split" after neither side could come to terms on a contract renewal.

"There was a time period when I wasn't on TV for a little while and basically during that time, there were negotiations and talks and the result was neither of us could come to terms," Anderson said in an exclusive diva-dirt.com interview. "However, a lot of people ask me if I would ever go back to TNA and I said absolutely if the timing is right."

Anderson was also asked about Awesome Kong's contract status in TNA, but Anderson said she could not comment publicly.

"I have spoken with her a couple times and she's doing fantastic as always. As far as her personal business with TNA and her job, that should be kept private," she said. "I can't speak for Awesome Kong. I know Raisha used to be her handler, but I can't comment for her (laughs)."

Anderson worked with Kong for two years on TNA TV as the Raisha Saeed manager before TNA wrote off the Raisha character because "the company was moving forward with different plans and ideas."

Anderson commented on playing the part and wanting a longer feud with Kong on TV to end their relationship, but also being grateful for the opportunity TNA gave her playing two characters at once.

"Raisha Saeed was very challenging. All of a sudden, if I'm wearing a mask in the ring, I had to emphasize a lot of body language and body movement. My favorite time period working for TNA was doing both characters at the same time. The challenge was fun and knowing that at the end of the day, I did two characters at the same time," Anderson said.

"I would have loved a longer feud (with Kong) and I understand Raisha was a supporting character, but I put a lot of work into her. I would have loved to have had more singles matches, but in this business, you take what you can get and I'm very grateful for my time."

Anderson commented on going to WWE if the come knocking: "If the timing is right and cards fall into place, I would absolutely go for WWE." She also commented on Wrestlelicious, Shimmer, Cauliflower Alley Club, and other topics in the 12-minute interview definitely worth listening to in support of good women's wrestling.
