TNA Knockout Lacey Von Erich says she's heard that Hulk Hogan wants to take Impact live on Monday nights head-to-head with WWE Raw "soon." Lacey said she hopes TNA is more organized when that actually happens because there were production issues on the live Impact from January 4.

"The schedule (in TNA) is getting a little bit more packed and more hectic. I think we might be going head-to-head with Raw Monday nights soon. Nothing is confirmed, but that is what they want to do," Lacey said on the Right After Wrestling show on Sirius satellite radio.

She continued: "The live show was very hectic backstage because no one had ever done it before. Our pre-tapes were barely getting in before the show even started. We almost didn't get to finish our little strip poker thing. It was a really hectic day, so then doing that on Mondays and doing it live, I hope we can really get used to it and it won't be so hectic in the future."

Lacey added that she found out about TNA dropping the six-sided ring from Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair before a lot of other wrestlers knew about it. She said, "A lot of people were upset about the four-sided ring and I kind of thought it made TNA original." (She said she's close with Hogan and Flair, which was evident on the Australia tour when she was involved in their main event matches doing run-ins.)

Lacey also detailed her serious issues with pro wrestling before she got into the business because of the death of her father, Kerry Von Erich. She detailed her family's reaction to Kerry's death, walking into WWE for the first time after blocking out wrestling from her childhood, and "getting out as quickly as possible" from WWE when she found out about the schedule so she didn't turn into Kerry.

"I was seriously disturbed after daddy passed away. Wrestling was a really big sore subject in our family. We didn't talk about it. So when Vince (McMahon) called my uncle Kevin and he called me and was like, 'Vince wants you to be a Diva,' I was like, 'What the hell is a diva?' We don't watch wrestling in our family anymore because it was really a sore subject - I mean everyone died!"

"I never said I would never do it, but I was going different paths with my life. When uncle Kevin called me about it, I called Johnny Laurinaitis back and he said, 'Come out to Raw and see if you like it.' I saw Ric Flair and smelled the Ben-gay and saw the guys taping up and I just started crying seeing my childhood. I had blocked it out for so many years. They handed me a contract and I said, 'Yes, I'm going to do it.'

"I signed my contract and went to FCW. I took my first bump and I loved it. I love pain. We're a little screwed up who wrestle. We all have something in us. I loved it, but I had a son. I was constantly wrestling and they were just about to put me on the road and they told me the schedule of wrestling like 300 days per year. I felt like my dad and he always left us. I just felt like I was going to turn into daddy and never see him (my son), so I got out as fast as I could."

Lacey said she started working for Wrestlelicious to get back into wrestling, then TNA saw her and brought her in. "I agreed to TNA because of the schedule. I can have a normal life and a normal job and have TV exposure," Lacey said. "I couldn't ask for a better two girls to work with in the Beautiful People. Angelina coming back has been good. I had heard some bad things about her about her being a diva, but I actually like her as a person."

Lacey was asked about TNA re-creating the Montreal Screwjob on last week's Impact and Lacey defended the product because she feels it keeps people interested and coming back to the show.

"I love TNA and I like the writers. I'm just going to show up to work and do whatever the heck they tell me. I'm not going to question the writers or what they're doing. They know where the story is going in the future," Lacey said. "You want people to be captured in the story and that keeps them coming back. We need controversy and fighting and real-life things put into the show like me coming into the Beautiful People and Angelina coming back and being pissed."

Lacey also detailed the story of TNA having to cancel an episode of the Spin Cycle with Kevin Nash and her because it was too raunchy. Lacey said they filmed the episode before Christmas and they had to answer what they wanted for Christmas. Nash said his son wanted Lacey, which led to a back-and-forth exchange. "When we got done with the entire show, there was about a minute that could air," she said. "When me and Nash get together, we feed off each other's humor."

Caldwell's Analysis: Lacey exaggerated on a few points in the interview, such as no one having done a live show before and she didn't acknowledge reports that she had a reputation for having a poor work ethic in WWE. Lacey also said TNA is keeping her out of the ring to "build up her persona." She seemed disappointed to be kept out of the ring lately, but she hasn't exactly looked good or believable as a wrestler during her TNA run. She shared a pretty entertaining story about growing up in the Sportatorium in Dallas where World Class Championship Wrestling ran shows and chasing rats around the building thinking they were cats. Overall, Lacey came across much more intelligent than her ditzy blonde character on TV (she runs her own marketing company in the L.A. area).
