TNA will make their Monday night debut with a three-hour episode of Impact on January 4 up against WWE Raw. Hulk Hogan will also make his Impact "debut" on Jan. 4, but when asked by Joe Rogan tonight if he'd wrestle, he beat around the bush and said "you never know when this old man might lace up the boots again, brother."

Hogan said on tonight's "The Ultimate Fighter" Finale on Spike TV that TNA is "going to war" with WWE. Earlier in the show, Hogan, TNA president Dixie Carter, and Eric Bischoff were shown on-camera. Bischoff is acting in the capacity of Hogan's business partner and has no official announced or known role with TNA at this point.

TNA Impact is not moving to Monday nights as a regular timeslot. In fact, January 11 Spike TV has a live UFC "Ultimate Fight Night" special on the schedule. It's the first time Spike TV and UFC have gone head-to-head with Raw with a live "Fight Night" type of card. They did present a high profile Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock fight once head-to-head with Raw and did well. If Impact does well on Jan. 4, though, TNA may use that to leverage Spike TV into giving them what they want - a regular Monday night timeslot. Spike is happy with the Thursday ratings for Impact and isn't convinced Impact would hold strong against Raw on Monday nights. Jan. 4 is a test of that belief, so TNA will go all out to prove they can compete at this time.
