TNA News: Latest episode of the Spin Cycle with Sting, Jarrett, Cornette, Foley greatness (w/VIDEO) Jul 4, 2009 - 1:15:50 PM
The latest episode of the TNA Spin Cycle includes a panel of Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Jim Cornette, and Don West discussing their favorite TNA moment, their most-proud moment in wrestling, and their worst moment in wrestling.
Mick Foley also joins the show from the "studio audience" to interject some great humor into the show. He uses Daffney, who he promoted in his MySpace blog last weekend, as an assistant to show off his TNA World Title belt. (The show was filmed before Slammiversary when Foley was still taking care of the title belt like it was a newborn child.)
One exchange in particular was classic Foley self-depreciation. Sting tells a story from the "blonde hair WCW days" of tripping during a ring entrance and falling to the ground, then Foley interjects with a similar moment from the TNA days.
"I'd like to point out, because it's ironic, Sting tripped at Sacrifice too. I know because I fell down with him. His foot got caught in my shirt and we both fell down," Foley said. "The fact that we pulled together - the four of us (Foley, Sting, Angle, and Jarrett) - what we did is we set the bar so low that from that moment on, everything Sting and I did was gold."
There is also a brief cameo from TNA writer Vince Russo in the background around the 17:00 mark when Foley is shown on-camera addressing Sting. Look for the beard.
