TNA News: Mick Foley says he's dreading TNA World Title match against Kurt Angle, praises TV build-up Jul 1, 2009 - 2:50:32 PM
Former TNA World champion Mick Foley says he's dreading his one-on-one match against Kurt Angle for the World Hvt. Title at the Victory Road PPV later this month. Foley says he needs to get in better shape to keep up with Angle.
Foley also says he hopes fans enjoy the build-up to their match on the next three episodes of TNA Impact leading to the PPV.
"I think there is some good stuff between me and Kurt to build up the match I've been dreading," Foley said on MySpace. "For Kurt is still one of the best conditioned athletes in the world and still approaches every match as if it's for Olympic gold."
Foley says his pride will be on the line when he wrestles Angle in the PPV main event. Foley sounds somewhat motivated to prove he can hang with Angle, but more concerned about simply having a good showing in the ring.
"So I'd better get both the wheels in my mind and the wheels on my bike turning if I hope to survive this thing with some semblance of pride intact," Foley said.
