TNA star Sonjay Dutt will no longer wrestle for TNA at the end of the month when his contract officially expires. TNA changed its mind on a contract extension, which left him upset with the company for how they handled business.

Dutt says his agent negotiated a contract renewal with TNA, which was agreed upon after two or three weeks of discussions. He says TNA cancelled the deal after a verbal agreement was reached.

"We agreed to a contract. Everything was fine. We agreed that I would sign the contract the last Monday at television, so I was looking forward to another three years with the company," Dutt told the World Band Media radio show. "That was on a Thursday. That next day, Friday afternoon, I got a call and they said there was some re-structuring going on with the company and they were not going to be able to renew my contract."

Dutt said he's not bitter about TNA changing its mind after agreeing to a contract, but he wishes things would have been handled better. He would have understood if TNA said straight-up they couldn't renew his contract.

"I wish it would have been handled differently because of how long I had been with the company and how much I did for the company," Dutt said. "I put six years into the company. If they said from the beginning they couldn't renew me, that's fine. It happens."
