The TV feud between the Main Event Mafia and Frontline has yet to include one person jumping from one side to the other. TNA star Mick Foley says TNA is developing its long-term goal each week on TV leading to the Lockdown PPV in April.

"One of the things that impressed me about TNA is that they have a big picture," Foley said in an interview with Slam Wrestling. "I made it very clear that the show did not need to be about me. I saw the big picture and I realized that I can make contributions when they are needed. So while I don't see Destination X as something that I'll play a large role in, it will be an important role in the bigger picture."

Current TNA World Hvt. champion Sting has been scripted to question the Mafia, but he has not left the group. Foley says Sting might not be the first one to jump sides, though.

"We haven't seen anybody jump sides, and depending on who does, it could be even more interesting," Foley said. "It could shake things up in a big way. Who knows? It might be me."

Foley predicts changes will occur in April leading up to and culminating with the Lockdown PPV. He hints that he will be in the match and his wrestling schedule will be more frequent than in WWE.

Foley wrestled once every few years in WWE, but in TNA, he expects to wrestle several times per year. He just hopes to be in better shape to keep up with the TNA wrestlers.

"If I can get into good enough shape to give people some semblance of the matches that I had before, I think I can be really valuable to the company," Foley said.

Foley's debut match in TNA was at the January PPV. He was in a six-man tag main event match with the Frontline against the Main Event Mafia, but he believes that match should have been the semi-main event. He feels the Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle match was more important.

"The one thing that I would definitely have done differently," he said, "and believe me I argued for this point at the time, is that there was no way that Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett should not have gone on last. But that wasn't my decision to make."

Caldwell's Analysis: Another round of Foley patting himself on the back for being selfless. Otherwise, a good interview from Foley to talk specifically about TNA's key storylines to give fans some hope for the direction of the company. Slam Wrestling conducted the interview while Foley was in Canada taping an "Off The Record" interview last week. Interestingly, TNA was mentioned zero times during the OTR interview. In addition, the graphic for Foley's name said "Former WWE star." Foley was there just to self-promote when there was an opportunity to promote the TNA brand, especially considering the topic was on steroids in sports and pro wrestling. Foley could have used the platform to promote TNA's drug testing policy and provided some perspective on how it's leveled the playing field, cleaned up the company, and saved the health of wrestlers.
