TNA News: Scott Hall appears on camera with ICP at tonight's TNA PPV; announcers react to his appearance Nov 9, 2008 - 9:36:21 PM
Former WWE and TNA wrestler Scott Hall appeared on camera at tonight's TNA Turning Point PPV in Orlando, Fla. Hall was part of a random appearance in the front row facing the hard camera by the Insane Clown Posse (ICP).
Hall was wearing a "JWO" t-shirt along with the other members of the ICP. He stood next to ICP member Shaggy 2 Dope during two matches on the undercard. ICP and Hall came to ringside in the middle of the Rhino vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir match, then they stuck around for the Beer Money vs. Motor City Machineguns match.
TNA announcers did not acknowledge ICP or Hall's presence ringside. Sheik Abdul Bashir tried to taunt ICP ringside during his match, which put ICP directly on camera. TNA announcer Mike Tenay then said, "Let's just say there are some familiar faces around the ringside area."
FYI: Scott Hall was scheduled to appear at the Turning Point PPV last year in a six-man tag match with Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe. However, he did not appear at the PPV, prompting Samoa Joe to cut a promo about Hall's no-show that went beyond the called-for script. Hall was then replaced by Eric Young in the PPV main event.
ICP formed as an underground rock group doing backyard wrestling in the Detroit area. They appeared on WWE and WCW programming during the Attitude era, then TNA during the 2004 Wednesday night PPV series. They were instrumental in booking TNA's first-ever house show, which took place in Detroit in March 2006.
