Wednesday Night ROH/TNA Programming - August 12 (Week 11)

- OVERALL: Both shows declined from the previous week. This occurred for the second consecutive week since Destination America removed ROH TV as the Impact lead-in.

- TNA Impact August 12: The first airing at 9:00 p.m. EST drew 270,000 viewers, down from 327,000 viewers last week and 343k viewers two weeks ago.

The late-night replay/West Coast airing after ROH then drew 60,000 viewers.

TNA Impact's total viewership was 330,000 viewers, down from 369k and 407k the previous two weeks.

- ROH TV August 12: The only airing at 11:00 p.m. EST drew 148,000 viewers, down slightly from 151k viewers last week and 171k viewers two weeks ago.

- Demos: Both ROH and TNA drew their typical older, male-heavy audience. ROH's median age was 54.3-years-old in the late-night slot, while Impact's median age was 53.7 years-old in prime time.

Impact drew 94 percent males 18-49; females 18-49 barely registered. Meanwhile, ROH TV drew 85 percent m18-49, with some female viewership registering.

Caldwell's Analysis: TNA is doing some better things creatively within the show, but the overall "TNA vs. GFW" invasion/not-an-invasion is too convoluted and was rushed to market. TNA viewers have no reason to invest in Global Force since they don't know anything about the brand other than Jeff Jarrett is a part of it and they're not sure whether they're supposed to care about GFW "taking over" Impact since it's unclear what the mission is. Too many mixed signals on what this is about and TNA viewers are left with another one of those feelings of TNA throwing something against the wall to see if it sticks.
