ROH News: ROH to continue on PPV, Lance Storm returns to ROH, KOCH DVD update May 22, 2008 - 6:00:21 PM
-ROH announced today that their PPV deal has been renewed. The terms of the deal are not going to be disclosed, as management grew frustrated with the speculation over the success of the original run of PPVs as they worked on finalizing the renewal for the past 3 months. Management is going to keep the information of their current PPV deal private so that speculation doesn't build up around the time the deal is set to be renewed in the future. It was never considered an option for the company not to continue running on PPV. For now, PPVs will continue to run every other month as they did with the original run that began last year.
The next two PPV tapings will take place on June 7 in Philadelphia, Pa. and July 26 in Detroit, Mich. Matches already announced for the PPV in Philadelphia include Bryan Danielson & Austin Aries vs. Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black and Roderick Strong vs. Erick Stevens in a Fight Without Honor. Nigel McGuinness will also defend the ROH World Title on the PPV.
-Lance Storm will return to ROH on July 25 in Toronto, Canada and July 26 in Detroit, Mich. More information about his role on these shows will be announced in the coming weeks.
-ROH is set to air their next PPV "Take No Prisoners" on May 30 at 10 p.m., which management is pushing as the best time to catch the show, as the replay times are all poor.
-Best Buy and FYE are now carrying "Stars of Honor" from KOCH Vision. It will be available in Best Buy in the next 7-10 days. FYE is currently carrying "Stars of Honor" and "Bloodstained Honor." Management is hoping that "Bloodstained Honor" will make its way to Best Buy soon, as they are crediting a grassrootes movement among fans for Best Buy carrying "Stars of Honor.
