Independent wrestling fans far and near –
Thanks for checking into the new Indy Report for this, July 13th. Being an ardent indy fan / supporter / follower, etc., I know you love as much indy news as you can get; this is a great thing, because you will get plenty of independent wrestling information as you can likely stomach in this Report; it is loaded!
At any event, not only is this IR loaded, but within, you’ll note a steady supply of big names scattered. It is truly incredible how many currently lament the lack of wrestling stars in the United States due to the Big One – WWE – the Little Two – TNA – and that being pretty much it for national stages. Yet, all you have to do is scroll down this Indy Report to realize that there is still a pretty steady supply of big names out there that wrestle on non-WWE / TNA cards. Not that they necessarily all deserve big-name status, mind you, but they are still out there!
Also, on a non-indy note, have you checked out Ric Flair’s autobiography yet? Wow. Great read. I tell ya, I’ll save more commentary for my Lounge column, but if you are a fan of pro wrestling (and if you are reading an Indy Report, you assuredly are), you need to rush out and get it if you haven’t yet! No, I’m not getting plugged by WWE for this plug!...it is just that good.
At any event, enough from me – now let us let the indy promotions do the bulk of the reporting!:
