The match will be contested under Texas Tornado Rules with the First Fall being for the NWA Tag Titles and the Second Fall being for the IWGP Tag Titles. -- Dory Funk, Jr. was named the new PWF Chairman at the All Japan show. Dory presented new Triple Crown champion Akebono with the promotion's top title after Akebono defeated Suwama in the main event.

-- The IWGP Hvt. Tag Titles and NWA World Tag Titles will both be on the line at New Japan Pro Wrestling's "Power Struggle" show on November 9 in Osaka, Japan.

The match will feature NWA tag champions Killer Elite Squad (Lance Hoyt/Archer & Davey Boy Smith, Jr.) vs. IWGP tag champions Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. the team of NWA World Hvt. champion Rob Conway & NWA star Jax Dane in a three-team match.
