Get In The Ring radio sent the following interview courtest of Adam Marrtin from Wrestleview.com highlights from when former "Quebecer" Jacques Rougeau was a guest on their show...

Here it is, in it's entirety the Jacques Rougeau Interview. We are looking to continue this story, if anyone knows how to contact Dynamite Kid please e-mail us at girphantom@comcast.net we'd like to give him the opportunity to speak on this incident as well

Jacques Rougeau joins the show. Sir Adam mentioned how last week's interview got a big response online, with fans furious over the fact that time ran out. Sir Adam mentioned how they got loads of hate mail. Rougeau said he didn't know what to say to that, but was glad he entertained the people. Sir Adam mentioned how people were upset with The Phantom interrupting Rougeau during the first part of the interview. Rougeau said he thought about the show last week a few times and how it reminded me about his career, whether he liked thinking about certain things or not.

- Now before we get to Part 2, here is a brief recap if you missed the first part:

THE FULL STORY

It all started Syracuse, New York. Long tour, everyone was tired. Last night of the tour. The Bulldogs were on the third match. Two tag team events. Jacques and his brother Raymond were on eighth match. There was a flight leaving Syracuse to Montreal that night, so Jacques could have an extra night at home. Jacques and Raymond asked the higher ups to be on the third match instead of the eighth so they could catch the flight to Montreal. It didn't go over well.

Before his match, Jacques asked Mr. Perfect to check on his bags while he is in the ring. Big mistake. Jacques said, "You live and learn." He didn't remember Hennig was a big ribber. When Jacques came to the back after his match, Hennig looked at him in the eye then the bag a few times. Jacques looked in the bag and didn't see anything missing. He got on the flight to Montreal and went home. When he got home, he opened the bag and his training belt, straps, and gloves were missing. Jacques got three days off and started back in Miami.

Jacques in his mind didn't think Hennig took his stuff. He thought the The Bulldogs took it. Jacques didn't think they liked him very much, but did think they respected him. He said he must have picked up some heat somehow, he thought it was because of the deal with the flight (more on that later in the recap).

Back to the story. Jacques was playing cards with Hennig in Miami with his back to the dressing room door. Dynamite Kid came in and slapped him on the ear and Jacques turned around. Dynamite started hitting him until he went on the crowd. Dynamite kicked him in the face a few times and Raymond got up and told Dynamite that was enough. Dynamite knocked Raymond out, who was on crutches at the time, and Raymond insulted Dynamite for doing that since he was defenseless. Dynamite said he was going to wait until he got even better to quote "f--- him up even more." Dynamite eventually left and Jacques worked a match with a swollen face. He went home and didn't speak to anyone for a few days.

He went back on the tour in Chicago and got in the dressing room. Dynamite came in and started making fun of Jacques in front of the boys. Jacques kept his head down and didn't say anything. A few days later, Jacques told his brother he was making a comeback in Ft. Wayne in front of all the boys (that he was going to fight Dynamite). Jacques called his dad and told him his plans. He eventually got to the arena and found Dynamite sitting with Dino Bravo. They all left to go eat so he waited and went into the empty arena. Eventually people start coming back. Jacques later found out that a meeting took place earlier in the day where Vince McMahon said if any of the boys got into fights backstage, he would fire them all. He didn't know that at the time.

Vince eventually came out and wanted to speak with him later. Jacques told his brother it was time to do it now (the fight, unaware of what Vince said). Raymond asked if he was sure he wanted to do this. Jacques was sure and he went on the search for Dynamite with Raymond not far behind. Many of the guys in the back started piling out, leaving Dynamite by himself. Dynamite started walking towards Jacques. Jacques said he was looking down the whole time and when he say Dynamite's feet, he looked up and asked how he was. When Dynamite responded, he punched him in the face as hard as he could. Rou described the scene, saying teeth and blood started to come pour out of his mouth.

Rougeau said that before everyone left the area and before Dynamite was the last to come out, Pat Patterson started walking towards them. Pat came up to both Jacques and Raymond and they started talking French. Jacques mentioned how they got heat for talking French backstage. He joked and said the Mexican guys never got heat when the spoke Spanish. Patterson started talking with Raymond, while Raymond kept looking at Jacques. Raymond was hoping to avoid Patterson since it was extremely bad timing. Out walks Dynamite. Jacques asks him how he is and just as Dynamite responds, he punches him in the face. Jacques described the scene, saying blood was all over him and how it was practically pouring out of Dynamite's mouth. Jacques said Dynamite fell to one knee and started grabbing his tights. He then gave him another hard left, but Dynamite continued to hold onto his tights and wouldn't go down. Jacques couldn't believe how tough he was. Jacques said Bret Hart, Davey Boy Smith and Bad News Brown all broke it up. Brown took Jacques by the throat and started cussing at him. Eventually it all was stopped.

Jacques said himself and Raymond went to the other side of the arena and went to Vince's office in the building. Raymond opened the door and asked if they could speak with Vince. Vince said not now. Jacques cut him off and told him how about right now. Vince saw all the blood on Jacques's body from the fight to which Hulk Hogan, who was in the room with Vince, left the room and said he was out quote, "outta here brother." As Hogan left, Savage opened his door nearby and had a shocked reaction as well. Both men went in and Jacques told Vince that if he fires him today, it would be okay because now he can finally look at himself in the mirror when he shaves and can be comfortable with what he did (basically sticking up for himself against Dynamite). Vince said no one was going to be fired. He told them to lock the door behind him and stay in the room until he got back. Vince came back about five minutes later and said The Bulldogs went to the hospital and that they would be taking a flight to Europe for a PPV event. Vince told both Jacques and Raymond to go to the next town. Jacques said as he left, he called his dad and told him what happened.

A week passed. The Bulldogs worked the PPV in Europe. Dynamite still worked the match despite the fight. Jacques and Raymond were backstage again at another event and Dino Bravo came up and told them he had some good news and some bad news. He asked which one they wanted to hear first. Raymond said the good news. Bravo said the good news was that The Bulldogs gave their notice and that they are finishing up in Europe. The bad news is, The Bulldogs gave their notice. Jacques said it took him a few seconds to understand that and it sunk in.

When The Bulldogs flew back to the U.S., they all met up in San Francisco. Jacques remembered approaching them in the VIP room at the airport. He mentioned the swelling went down on Dynamite's face, but he was missing a lot of teeth. Eventually everyone met up in this VIP room at the airport. Jacques and his brother Raymond were together with The Bulldogs across from him and Vince was in the middle. Rougeau said it was a very tense meeting. Dynamite basically started the meeting, saying he understood why Jacques did what he did due to his family's reputation. Jacques said they spoke it out, saying he wished it never would have happened. Jacques said they didn't need this type of thing while they were on the road away from home. Vince said they would finish the tour and end it by facing each other at the Survivor Series in a tag team match.

The Phantom asked Jacques if he got any praise backstage after the incident took place. Jacques mentioned that many people feared Dynamite Kid backstage since he was some what of a bully and liked to start trouble. Jacques said he got some praise from some people backstage for sticking up for himself.

This brings the PPV event. Jacques said by 6 p.m., everyone on the card had the matches laid out and ready to go except for them. He said they had no discussions with The Bulldogs thus far. By the time 7 p.m. rolled around, 15 minutes before the show started, Pat Patterson told them Vince would like to meet with them so they could go over the match with The Bulldogs. When they walked in the room, The Bulldogs were inside and Dynamite shouted out the plans. He said he would grab Jacques and lift him over his head into a press-slam position, bounce off the ropes, have Raymond come in and then Dynamite would throw Jacques into Raymond. Jacques said he felt something was up and knew Dynamite might try to drop him onto the cement floor on his head as he came off the ropes. He knew Raymond would have little time to come in and do the spot so anything could happen. Jacques agreed to the spot and everything went as planned. After the match, Vince McMahon asked both Jacques and Raymond if they could just leave the arena right away and not shower to avoid an altercation. Jacques agreed and that was that.

The show comes back and Sir Adam reads a question from a listener. The listener asks that if it were not for Bad News Brown saving him, Dynamite Kid may have been killed that day because that is what Dynamite Kid said in his book. Jacques said when it all went down, Bret and Davey Boy pulled Dynamite away too fast for anything else to really happen. Jacques mentioned he never really got along with Bad News Brown and said he didn't like himself and Raymond. Jacques said in a way, Brown stuck his nose into his business. He mentioned the next few days that if he ever came into contact with Brown, his eyes lit up and asked Brown what he wanted. Rougeau said it almost turned into a situation with Brown, but it never got the point it did with Dynamite.

The Phantom brought up how the Dynamite Kid is in a wheel chair now. Jacques said he is very sorry about that because he feels Dynamite is a good guy. Jacques said he has come to the conclusion, and he feels Dynamite may have as well, that this whole thing was started because of Curt Hennig.

Jacques mentions how he feels this entire situation got started with The Bulldogs. He said it all started at Madison Square Garden when it was the Rougeau Brothers vs. The Bulldogs in a great 20 minute match. Jacques said that Vince made the offer to make the match a 20 minute broadway, to which Jacques responded shocked, asking why they would do it with The Bulldogs who were jobbers in his eyes at that time. Jacques feels that may have started everything between the two teams.

The Phantom asks how he would like to be remembered as during his career in the WWF (Either as The Mountie or The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers). He said he would just like to be remembered simply as Jacques Rougeau.
