Kevin Nash says he can't make Scott Hall want to live. Hall's ex-wife, Dana, says she's "at peace with letting him go," saying she feels she has no choice.

Two of the people closest to Hall during his struggle with addiction and complicated health issues have made it sound like they've come to the end of their rope trying to help Hall recover.

Dana painted a grim picture of Hall's current mental and physical state in an interview with Mike Mooneyham on PostandCourier.com over the weekend. Nash talked about Hall's recovery ultimately being up to Hall after being in rehab nine times in an interview with Live Audio Wrestling Sunday.

"I can't make Scott Hall want to live," Nash said. "I can't make Scott Hall want to get better, I can't make Scott want to repair his relationship with his children, I can't make any of those things happen and the only one who can is Scott. When and if he does I will be the happiest person on earth."

Nash said he thinks what tripped up Hall on his infamous independent show appearance last month was taking Somas, which "caused a really bad reaction."

"He’s at a place right now where the peaks and valleys are so incredibly high and low and the last week he’s been at a level spot, his health is bad," Nash said. "I think he went in and saw some doctors and he’s not going to walk in and get a gold label of health and when you get news from doctors that your heart isn’t functioning so well, this isn’t functioning well and this isn’t functioning well and to get all that news all in one day he went into a semi bender."

From another perspective, Dana described a recent incident where Hall was talking about dying, then she called 911 to check on his condition. When she arrived, Dana says Hall tried to attack her as he fought off EMTs from assisting him.

"I could barely understand him, but finally heard him say he was sorry for his behavior, and after wrapping his head around it, he knew he was going to die, didn’t have much time left, and wanted me and the kids to be with him in the end," Dana said.

"I had my hands out to him and was crying, and he could have cared less. He just went on with his ranting. He at one point held his hand up to strike me, and they moved me away. There were like eight paramedics and six officers. I told him goodbye. This would be the last time I would come see him."

Dana noted she and Nash have reached out to WWE through Ann Russo-Gordon to potentially help Hall again, but WWE is reluctant to go through with more rehab for Hall since they've already tried in the past.

"They (WWE) have not said yes, nor have they said no. Finding some place that is qualified to deal with Scott’s magnitude of issues is proving to be difficult," Dana said. "They, of course, have been burned by Scott many times in the past and I don’t blame them at all if they completely shut the door at this point. I had to ask for him at least one more time, but after seeing him, I know he doesn’t even want the help."

Nash said in the interview with Live Audio: "The thing is Scott has been through so many hospitals, so many psych wards, evaluations and so many rehab centers that Scott knows every catch phrase and he knows exactly what the psychologist wants to hear and we’re all workers - that's what we are and in 72 hours, Scott is gone."
