PWG News: Former WWE wrestler, TNA tag team, ROH World champion scheduled for PWG's "Battle of Los Angeles" tournament Nov 4, 2009 - 11:19:40 AM
Southern California-based Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has released the full list of 16 wrestlers scheduled for their annual "Battle of Los Angeles" tournament that will be headlined by former WWE wrestler Brian Kendrick, TNA wrestlers Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, and ROH World champion Austin Aries.
PWG has not announced the first round match-ups in the tournament yet scheduled for November 20 and 21. The winner of the tournament will be the new PWG World champion after Bryan Danielson was booked to vacate the title on his final PWG show in September.
Top stars confirmed for the tournament include Kendrick, Sabin and Shelley, Aries, Colt Cabana, the Young Bucks, Roderick Strong, El Generico and Kevin Steen, Joey Ryan, and Kenny Omega. Local favorites include Scott Lost, former PWG champion Human Tornado, Jerome "LTP" Robinson, and Brandon Gaston.
PWG recently released DVDs from two important shows, including Bryan Danielson's final PWG match on the "Guerre Sans Frontieres" DVD. PWG DVD ordering info.
