PWG News: PWG tonight in Southern California - Brian Kendrick vs. Roderick Strong, Young Bucks tag title match, Davey Richards, Chris Hero Oct 2, 2009 - 1:02:59 PM
Southern California-based Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has a show tonight in Reseda, Calif. headlined by former WWE wrestler Brian Kendrick vs. Roderick Strong.
The other top matches on the show are the Young Bucks defending the PWG tag titles against Kenny Omega & Chuck Taylor a/k/a the Men of Low Moral Fiber, ROH tag champion Davey Richards vs. Kenny King, and Chris Hero vs. El Generico.
The top local match is Joey Ryan vs. Scott Lost, which has plenty of interest from local wrestling fans due to their long history of matches with and against each other for a number of promotions in the area.
PWG also has two qualifying matches for their annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament that will determine the next PWG champion after Bryan Danielson vacated the title. Kevin Steen was the first wrestler announced for the November tournament.
