Hogan News: Hulk Hogan appearing at major wrestling show in Chicago, Hogan quoted in US Weekly on celebrity feuds Jun 22, 2009 - 11:45:58 AM
-- Hulk Hogan Appreciation Day is taking place July 10 at Toyota Park in Chicago as part of the Windy City Wrestling promotion's big wrestling card at the home of the local Major League Soccer team.
Hogan is scheduled for autographs from 2:00-6:00 p.m. before the show. The usual crew of legends associated with Hogan will also be signing autographs, including Jimmy Hart, the Nasty Boys, Brutus Beefcake, Greg "the Hammer" Valentine, Tito Santana, and Al Snow.
The wrestling card presented by Windy City inside the soccer stadium will feature ROH champion Austin Aries in action. The stadium can hold up to 28,000 people, so this will be one of the largest wrestling cards of the year if they fill the stadium for Hogan. Link:Press release.
-- Hulk Hogan kept his name in the gossip magazines by offering quotes on "celebrity feuds" taking place in the media. The June 29 edition of US Weekly features Hogan weighing in on the Sarah Palin vs. David Letterman feud, among other feuds.
