Where Is She Now: Former WWE diva Torrie Wilson describes leaving company and Vince McMahon's broken promise Dec 2, 2008 - 5:02:03 PM
Torrie Wilson left WWE earlier this year after suffering a back injury that was keeping her out of the ring. Now, she's running her clothing store in The Woodlands, Tex., just outside of Houston, along with boyfriend Nick Mitchell.
Torrie Wilson was once an integral part of the WWE Women's division, but she was never banked on to carry the division as Women's champion. She claims a Women's Title run was promised to her, though, when she moved to the Raw brand in August 2005.
In a recent shoot interview that is currently out on DVD, Torrie claims she pitched an idea to Vince McMahon that she should win the Women's Title, and Vince agreed to the idea. However, the idea never came to fruition.
That played into her decision to leave WWE in May of this year when WWE wanted to keep her under contract despite a re-occuring back injury. Torrie says she decided to leave because she knew her personal dream of a Women's Title run would not be in her future.
Also in the interview, Torrie also comments on the relationship between current Divas champion Michelle McCool and The Undertaker, who are dating after Undertaker divorced from his former wife Sara. (Hence, Taker removing the "Sara" tattoo from his neck.)
Torrie says she used to be scared of Undertaker, but she's gotten to know him quite a bit more since he started dating Michelle, who she considers a close friend.
