By Chris Vetter, torch contributor

Torch Indy Reporter Chris Vetter sees dozens of indy shows all over the Midwest, and regularly watches & reviews indy DVDs. His reports covering the entire U.S. Indy Scene are usually published exclusively here at PWTorch.com every Monday and Friday.

WEEKEND RESULTS, NEWS & NOTES

After being gone much of last week, I’m catching up on all your indy news! Unfortunately, this has been a really slow time in indy wrestling. Outside of PWG in California, most indies took the Labor Day weekend off.

The news out of PWG over the weekend is the return of Low Ki to action, and the Young Bucks won the PWG tag titles from Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black.

Brent Albright retained the National Wrestling Alliance title on Aug. 30 in Mexico City, defeating Adam Pearce. The card featured Mexican stars like Blue Demon, El Dandy, El Hijo del Santo, Fuerz Guerrera and more.

In upcoming shows…

Nunzio, Rhino, LAX, and Jay Lethal will headline the next Jersey All Pro show on Sept. 19th. Check out the info below for full lineups.

BIG Pro Wrestling in Queens, N.Y., runs on Sept. 27th, featuring Raven, Balls Mahoney, Spike Dudley, Homicide.

Trevor Murdoch heads to Central Empire Wrestling in Oskaloosa, Iowa, on Sept. 13th.

And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
