Torch Indy Reporter Chris Vetter sees dozens of indy shows all over the Midwest, and regularly watches & reviews indy DVDs. His reports covering the entire U.S. Indy Scene are usually published exclusively here at PWTorch.com every Monday and Friday.
WEEKEND RESULTS, NEWS & NOTES
Results from the ROH PPV taping are already posted, so I didn’t re-submit them here. The show on Friday in Hartford, Conn., concluded with Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black winning the single-night tag tournament.
In IWC on Saturday, Jerry Lynn retained his Super Indy title by defeating rising star Johnny Gargano.
Roderick Strong was injured during the ROH match on Saturday against Erick Stevens, so he did not compete Sunday in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. The main event was turned into a three-way, with Chris Hero defeating Necro Butcher and Jack Evans. Chris Bosh made his surprise return to PWG after being absent for about a year. Results are below.
And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
