Interview Highlights: Jesse Ventura on Sean Hannity's syndicated radio show on 9/11 conspiracies, presidency, politics Apr 10, 2008 - 7:19:15 PM
PWTorch.com reader Rhonda McShook sent PWTorch.com the following interview summary...
I listened to a radio interview on the Sean Hannity show with Jesse "The Body/Mind" Ventura. This was on today at 5:40 p.m. ET. Highlights follow:
--Jesse asked Sean if he golfed. Hannity said he did not and Ventura said that he was disappointed because he wanted to go out golfing with him. Sean agreed to caddy for the best-selling author. Sean Hannity referred to the former Governor as both irritating and a provocateur.
--Jesse Ventura said he was conservative on fiscal issues and liberal on social issues, citing Goldwater's accomplishments. Hannity brought up that in Jesse's book he refers to the two major political parties as ReBLOODlicans and DemoCRIPS. Abortion was the next topic and the Vietnam Veteran cited the quote "Abortion is religion's failure to persuade."
--Hannity asked if Jesse Ventura would run for President. Jesse said he would, not that he will, but most likely wouldn't get to be on all 50 states ballots. Asked how he would fare, he noted defeated an incumbent by a landslide to become the Minnesota Governor.
--The "controlled demolition" of the Twin Towers on September 11th in 2001 was talked about. Hannity argued against the fact that it ever even happened. Ventura brought up that while towers one and two were heavily covered by the media, Jesse never saw the third building (which was named WTC 7) covered on television. Sean Hannity did acknowledge that WTC 7 did indeed blow up. Sean said Ventura was being lke Rosie O'Donnell and questioned him citing that there weren't any engineers that believe it was a "controlled demolition." Jesse said there were. Sean continued that it was wrong to say it was an inside job because it would cause those that lost loved ones in tragedy to distrust the government. Sean also said Jesse himself wasn't an expert.
--Ventura reminded him that in the Navy he was on demolition team so he is inded very knowledgable about blowing up buildings and asked Hannity why George W. Bush stonewalled and tried to prevent an investigation on the controlled demolition, to which Hannity changed the subject to Ventura saying media personalities including Sean were not given artistic freedom and all talked about the same stories at the command of the higher ups. An example of this is covering Anna Nicole Smith's death for six weeks to which Hannity defended by saying it was the news of the day. Jesse responded that the story didn't classify as news. The interview ended with Hannity saying he's having Jesse Ventura back on the program in the future.
