Torch Indy Weekend Report: Strong over Hero in PWG, Aries out, Lynn wins in AAW
Apr 8, 2008 - 4:08:13 PM

By Chris Vetter

Torch Indy Reporter Chris Vetter travels thousands of miles each year to see dozens of indy shows all over the Midwest. His reports covering the entire U.S. Indy Scene are usually published exclusively here at PWTorch.com every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

WEEKEND RESULTS, NEWS & NOTES

After a week’s hiatus, the indy wrestling report is back! So, I have two weeks worth of results packed into one report!

I’m not sure if Wade reported this, but one of Floyd Mayweather’s entourage who was beaten up by Big Show is indy wrestler Janus. Janus wrestles extensively for Vanguard Championship Wrestling.

Austin Aries has sustained a head injury, and will miss the ROH shows this weekend.

Shimmer Women’s Athletes has put tickets on sale for its July 5 taping. The next taping, on April 25, is completely sold out!

IWA Mid-South Wrestling has moved its show this Friday to the Sports Zone in Indianapolis, Ind., (instead of in Plainfield, Ind.)

And you can always reach me with your indy results at chrisjvetter@hotmail.com. I request that you remember to say date, location (including building, city & state!), and full name of the promotion.
