EDITORIAL: If Dusty Rhodes were Linda McMahon's speech writer, the speech might look like this... Sep 19, 2009 - 11:33:22 AM
I AM(!) Linda McMahon, live and in public, if you wheel. You know, growin' up as the daughter of a plumber in Austin, Tex.- ehrm - Stamford, Conn., diggin a ditch, wantin' to be the American Dream, I have obtained the goals that many men dream about night after night.
I have wined and dined with kings and queens, and I have slept in back alleys and dined on pork n beans! I don't have to say a lot more about the way I feel about Sen. Chris Dodd. No respect! No honor! There is no honor amongst thieves in the first place!
He put hard times on Linda McMahon and her family. You don't know what hard times are, daddy! Hard times are when the textile workers around this country are out of work. They got four or five kids and can't pay their wages, can't buy their food. Hard times are when the auto workers are out of work and they tell 'em go home.
And hard times are when a man works on a job thirty years, THIRTY YEARS! They give him a watch, kick him in the butt, and say HEY! A computer took your place, Daddy! That's hard times! That's hard times!
And Chris Dodd, you put hard times on this country by taking Linda McMahon out. THAT'S HARD TIMES!! And we all have hard times together. I admit I don't look like the lady senator of today is supposed to look. My chest is just a lil' flat. My heinie's just a lil' flat. But brother, I am bad and they know I'm bad!
Linda McMahon is gonna take this race straight to tha pay winda, right here, on da mothersheeyp! I'm here for ya! Jump on it! And see how tough you really are. And like I said before, if it be that way, let it be! Nobody interfere! Me and you! The rest of the senate, need to vote on another planet... because I reserve the stratusphere for me and you. Livin' on the end of a lightning bolt.
