Pro Wrestling Torch was established in 1987 by Wade Keller. One of the primary traits PWTorch has been credited with over the years is assembling the best and most diverse staff of columnists with broad knowledge, but also areas of specialty where they have a particularly strong grasp of history. Every day PWTorch.com presents that team of writers answering your questions, some of which are fact-based and others of which are opinion-based. Either way, we've got you covered with Bruce Mitchell, Pat McNeill, Sean Radican, Greg Parks, James Caldwell, and Wade Keller. Collectively they have over 80 years working for the Torch, writing about wrestling and studying industry history and trends.
If you have a question you'd like us to respond to, send your question to askpwtorch@gmail.com. I, along with the Torch staff, will address you questions in this feature and also the “Ask PWTorch: All-Star Panel” edition which is also published most days here at PWTorch.

PWTorch reader Aaron P. asks: Do you think it's disrespectful to Jake Roberts when somebody like Randy Orton or The Rock uses the DDT as just a move and not as a finisher? I went to a live event once where Orton DDT'd an opponent on the floor outside of the ring. When Jake did that to Ricky Steamboat it was a huge angle. Now it's just another move. It sort of reminds me of when guys used to always get pinned after getting hit with a steel chair, whereas now they often kick out. Did everyone all of a sudden become stronger or something?
PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: No, it's just the evolution of the business. If you pay attention to wrestlers over time, their offense evolve's and some of their maneuvers that used to be finishers become signature spots. I think it's important that moves are protected in a company so that one wrestler isn't using another wrestler's finish as a transition move in a given time period, but overall things are going to change over time and that's how things work in wrestling.

PWTorch reader Reg from London, England asks: I think it is fair to say that there's a general belief that Seth Rollins is a natural face and Dean Ambrose is a natural heel, but is it the case that those who hold this belief are actually wrong? It seems to me that Rollins is brilliant at being unlikable, as opposed to Ambrose who would almost certainly be cheered as a heel, you know, because that's what modern wrestling fans do! Also, Dean has been on fire as a face, and been much better than perhaps a lot of people expected, maybe to the point where his long term future is as a good guy, and not a villainous character, the same can be said of Rollins. What are your thoughts on the situation?
PWTorch audio host Travis Bryant answers: That general belief is six months old. Anyone still clinging to that idea must have missed the last half year of TV. Seth Rollins is the best thing going heel-wise today. Dean is warm, maybe even simmering. He is not on fire though.

PWTorch reader Josh S. of Bloomington, Minn. asks: Howdy, guys. I've been revisiting my way through some of the offerings from WWE wrestlers/personalities over the last few weeks, (Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Eric Bischoff) that I thought were worth re-reading. A question I have is: Aside from the Jim Ross book that is coming out, who seems the most likely and interesting candidate for something worth reading? I'd go with the Undertaker myself, assuming he (and his likely ghostwriter) wrote it out of character. Keep up the great work!
PWTorch columnist Greg Parks answers: This topic was a Top Five List in one of my former PWTorch VIP Audio Shows, "Gonzo & The Greg," which is available for listening in the PWTorch VIP Audio Archives. In this case, VIP members can access it directly here. My top five from that show (spoiler alert) in ascending order: Michael Hayes, Raven, Vince McMahon, Jim Ross, and Paul Heyman.

PWTorch reader Fuljens H. asks: Given the success of wrestlers such as Tyson Kidd and Sin Cara (and arguably Titus O'Neil), who were sent to NXT and either repackaged or given solid content to work with, do you foresee more directionless main roster wrestlers such as Big E, Ryder, or even Kofi Kingston transferring to the NXT roster?
PWTorch columnist Pat McNeill answers: There might be one or two directionless wrestlers who would volunteer for the move, but I believe most wrestlers would rather stay on the main roster.
PWTorch columnist Sean Radican answers: That is certainly a possibility, but it remains to be seen if sending talent back to NXT and then bringing them back to Raw has any benefit. Looking at how they've used Tyson Kid on TV, it's not looking good.
