PWTorch.com reader John Shoemaker of Georgetown, Del asks: Is Triple H going to be on TV anytime soon? Is he on vacation, or just a break? Do you see any of the wrestlers released by WWE showing up on TNA, or even back to WWE? Any chance of another "invasion" angle with ECW, or even the released wrestlers?
WK: We broke the story in last week's Torch Newsletter that Triple H was planning to take roughly two-to-three months off from wrestling starting in August or September. He's only been working non-televised matches lately, stepping aside to let Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels have the Summerslam spotlight. Rather than be lost in the shuffle with the influx of Hogan, John Cena, and others from the draft, he took an early break from TV. Originally the plan was for him to face Ric Flair at Summerslam, creating two "dream matches" on the big show involving Hogan and Flair. More details on the Hunter situation can be read by VIP members here. I do see a number of released wrestlers showing up in TNA. Rhino is the first. I expect once their 90 day no-compete clauses expire, Shannon Moore and Charlie Haas will be among those who sign with TNA. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Dudleys end up back in WWE, but otherwise expect them to become a top act in TNA. I don't see an Invasion angle taking place, but never say never.

PWTorch.com reader Pete from Canada asks: I just got WWE 247 and was watching the Bruno Sammartino special. The first match was against Nikolai Volkoff in 1975 and Vince was on commentary! I had no idea that he was doing commentary that early. I have been following wrestling closely since 1985 and following it every day on the internet since 1995. Yet, I still know very little about Vince before he bought out his dad. This shows how little the topic has been covered. This 1975 commentary comes as a real surprise to me. Care to fill us all in on the story of Vince breaking into the business please guys?
WK: Yes, Vince McMahon was an announcer for his father's promotion from the mid-'70s until he took over control of the company in 1983 as his father succumbed to cancer.

PWTorch.com reader Jon Martin of South Bend, Ind. asks: I got an AWA comp bootleg DVD from EBay the other day and on it was the Wrestle Rock Rumble video - complete with Greg Gagne, Nick Bockwinkle, Jerry Blackwell and more trying to rap. In your opinion - is there a worse or more dorky video in wrestling history?
WK: That was the worst - and therefore in some ways the best - wrestling music video ever. It's a cherished part of my tape collection. The rapping was so far off the beat at times it was hilarious. Some of the wrestlers really got into it, with Larry Zbyszko getting the prize as the best rapper of the bunch. I remember Greg Gagne's line: "I'm Greg Gagne, and I'm in a rage! I want the Sheik, and I want it in a cage!" Oh, the memories.

PWTorch.com reader Naz of Singapore asks: I have been a massive fan of “Slick Ric”. Obviously, at 56, Ric can still go. Do you reckon he will get a final push before he retires?
WK: I do think Ric Flair will get one final title reign. It will be short, I suspect. If he retires officially soon, I could see him winning the title in his final match and retiring as champ, which would be fitting. Of course, he'd "come out of retirement" now and then if healthy enough, but not wrestle indiscriminately like he does now. Kevin Nash said in a recent "Torch Talk" installment in the Torch Newsletter that he thinks Flair should have defeated Triple H for the World Title recently.
