Shinsuke Nakamura was forced to pull out of his scheduled B Block match against Michael Elgin due to a reported elbow injury. Elgin received two points for the forfeit victory. Nakamura is still scheduled to continue in the tournament.

(1) Jushin Liger & Tiger Mask IV & Captain New Japan beat Ryusuke Taguchi & Jay White & David Finlay, Jr. in a six-man tag match.

(2) YOSHI-HASHI & Toru Yano beat Bullet Club (Cody Hall & Doc Gallows).

(3) Mascara Dorada & Togi Makabe & Kota Ibushi beat Tenzan & Shibata & Yohei Komatsu in a six-man tag match.

(4) Naito & Tanahashi & Elgin beat Bullet Club (A.J. Styles & Bad Luck Fale & Tama Tonga) in a six-man tag match. Elgin's spot was originally for Captain New Japan.

(5) Yujiro Takahashi beat Yuji Nagata in a G1 Climax B Block match.

(6) IWGP IC champion Hirooki Goto beat Honma in a G1 Climax B Block match. Honma still has not won a G1 Climax match going back to last year.

(7) Tomohiro Ishii beat Karl Anderson in a G1 Climax B Block match.

(x) Michael Elgin vs. Shinsuke Nakamura did not happen; Elgin won via forfeit in a G1 Climax B Block match.

(8) IWGP World Hvt. champion Kazuchika Okada beat Satoshi Kojima in a G1 Climax B Block match.
