NJPW's "Suzuki-Gun" Results

New Japan and NOAH presented a "Suzuki-Gun" branded show Tuesday at Korakuen Hall. It was branded as a stand-alone show for the Suzuki-Gun heel faction, similar to how WCW branded the "NWO Souled Out" PPV during the Monday Night Wars.

The event will be released on-demand through the New Japan World pay video service HERE.

(1) Naomichi Marufuji [NOAH] vs. Yuji Nagata [NJPW] went to a 15-minute draw.

(2) Genba Hirayanagi & Hitoshi Kumano beat Jon Webb & Jack Gamble. Webb & Gamble came over from the U.S. independents after being scouted at Harley Race's Wrestling Camp.

(3) Zack Sabre, Jr. & Gedo beat Captain New Japan & Captain NOAH.

(4) Jushin Liger & Yoshinari Ogawa beat El Desperado & Taichi.

(5) Takashi Sugiura & Daisuke Harada beat Shelton Benjamin & TAKA Michinoku. This gave Team NOAH a win over the Suzuki-Gun stable.

(6) NWA World tag champions Killer Elite Squad (Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith, Jr.) beat Tenzan & Kojima to retain the NWA World Tag Titles.

(7) Yoshihiro Takayama & Maybach Taniguchi beat Minoru Suzuki & Takashi Iizuka. This gave NOAH another win over the Suzuki-Gun stable. Afterward, Takayama said NOAH will begin striking back against Suzuki-Gun going forward.
