WWE NXT Results
June 5, 2015
Ft. Pierce, Fla.
Report by Christopher Piatt, PWTorch reader

This was my second NXT show, as I attended an NXT Full Sail taping back in 2013. Plenty of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Sami Zayn, Charlotte, Enzo/Big Cass, Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, and Bayley merchandise at the merchandise stand. It seemed that Owens and Balor merchandise was selling the most. I picked up a Sami Zayn t-shirt.

Crowd size was about 300 people I would say. All the floor seats were sold and the general admissions bleachers were about half-full.

Carmella, Bayley, and Tyler Breeze were taking pics and signing autographs before the show.

(1) Mojo Rawley beat Marcus Louis. Marcus received a "Freddie Kruger" chant upon his entrance. Mojo received a good pop. He is a good choice for the opener, as he really gets the kids hyped up. Lots of dancing by Mojo. Match quality was all right; it was pretty much total domination by Mojo to pick up the win.

(2) Solomon Crowe beat Cal Bishop. Crowe picked up the win with the Strech Muffler after he had to apply it twice.

(3) Charlotte & Bayley beat Jessie McKay & K.C. Cassidy. Bayley and Charlotte picked up the win with dual figure-four leg locks on their opponents.

(4) Tyler Breeze beat Baron Corbin. The audience was split for both of these guys. Multiple chants for both of them. Corbin went for a springboard move from the apron to inside the ring, but he totally crashed onto the mat. His feet slipped from the rope. No injury, though. Breeze picked up the win with the Beauty Shot. This was the second best match of the night.

(5) Big Cass & Enzo & Carmella beat NXT tag champs Blake & Murphy & Alexa Bliss in a six-person tag match. I love the entrance and in-ring promo from Cass, Enzo, and Carmella. Overall, a good match between the six. Carmella and Bliss were never tagged in, though.

(6) Tye Dillenger beat Chad Gable. Not much of a reaction for Gable other than the crowd chanting at him "You're a Zero." Dillenger's "10" gimmick is funny and got a good reaction from the crowd.

Uhaa Nation came out to cut a promo. The crowd knew who he was. He talked about going to the top of the mountain and becoming NXT champ.

(7) The Vaudevillains beat Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder. The Villains play their role very well, while Dawson and Wilder come across as a jobber tag team that needs an identity.

(8) NXT Women's champion Sasha Banks beat Becky Lynch to retain the Women's Title. I think the crowd was hoping for a Finn Balor match, but let me tell you that these ladies surely deserved to be in the main event. They put on a great match to take home match of the night honors. It was a back and forth match that had the crowd cheering for both woman. Sasha picked up the win with her Bank Statement submission hold.

Overall, it was a great show even though Kevin Owens and Finn Balor did not appear. No one seemed that upset, as the rest of the card did a great job. NXT is returning to Fort Pierce on July 23.
