Laredo, Texas
Report by Dylon Wells, PWTorch correspondent

The arena started to get pretty packed as I sat down before the show. A poll 30 minutes before the show popped up and the fans had a choice to vote via Twitter for the Divas match. The match choices were: (a) Divas match or (b) Divas tag match.

(1) Ryback beat Bray Wyatt at 11:18. Pretty decent opener that had good pace to set the show forward. Bray was going to attempt Sister Abigail, but at the last second Ryback shoved Bray, whipped him into the ropes, picked him up for Shell-Shocked, and dropped him with to get a three count! (*3/4)

Next, Stardust started off by teasing various WWE t-shirts of stars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Big Show. But, instead of throwing them into the crowd, he just kicked the box of shirts out of the ring.

(2) R-Truth beat Stardust at 5:53. After about a minute, Truth tossed Stardust out of the ring and then tossed the shirts to the fans. This was a decent comedy match. The ending came when Stardust was looking to get his glove back after a back-and-forth glove slap battle. But, Truth mocked Stardust, tossed his glove in the air, and hit Little Jimmy immediately after tossing the glove in the air for the three count! (*1/2)

Stardust grabbed the mic after a minute or two and exclaimed that he's not done tonight and demanded another match. After some more heel tactics and words, Jimmy Uso's entrance theme played and he ran into the ring.

(3) Jimmy Uso beat Stardust at 0:20. Jimmy dodged a clothesline and hit a superkick followed by an Uso top-rope splash for the three count! (n/a)

(4) Lucha Dragons beat Los Matadores at 11:47. Not as fast-paced as I anticipated, but it picked up at a good time and had some decent Lucha action. Also, El Torito's involvement was entertaining and good throughout. The ending came when Kalisto dodged a huracanrana attempt by Torito and hit Fernando with it. Fernando, still being dazed, took the Salida Del Sol. Kalisto then tagged in Cara for a Senton and three count! (**1/4)

Post-match, Sheamus came out and took out both Lucha Dragons with Brogue Kicks. He then grabbed the mic and said that he's the Celtic Warrior and this was just a taste of what he has in store for his opponent tonight!

(5) Roman Reigns beat Big Show in a Steel Cage match at 13:24. Decent match with a methodical pace that worked and had some good nearfalls at times. The ending came when Roman hit a fourth Superman Punch to finally knock down Show. Both slowly recovered before Roman climbed up the cage as Show looked to escape through the door. Show neared the outside as Roman was almost to the floor, so he kicked the cage door shut in Show's face and a few seconds later Roman dropped to the floor for the win! (**)

[Intermission]

The poll results from the beginning of the show were revealed. The results were... Divas Tag 75 percent and Divas match 25 percent.

(6) Natalya & Emma beat Alicia Fox & Cameron at 9:01. Decent Divas action with a little stalling for some comedy acton, which didn't take away from the match. Cameron seriously let out a series of the highest-pitched screams ever! Which happened during the match after Emma slapped the mirror out of her hand. The ending came when Natalya got a hot tag and hit a series of signature moves on Alicia while Emma kept Cameron occupied on the outside. Natalya then slapped on the Sharpshooter on Alicia to get the submission win! (*3/4)

(7) Sheamus beat Jack Swagger at 10:46. A physical heavyweight match at a good pace. Some good nearfalls towards the end, then the ending came after Sheamus recovered in the corner from a Patriot Lock and Swagger looked to grapple him in the corner, but Sheamus raked his eyes and hit the Brouge Kick a few seconds later. It was good for the three count! (**)

Shortly after the match, The Lucha Dragons came back and got revenge on Sheamus from the earlier blindside. Kalisto hit a springboard dropkick to Sheamus and Cara gave him a huracanrana, sending Sheamus rolling out of the ring. Kalisto then dove through the middle rope and hit Sheamus with a diving cross-body. The Lucha Dragons then celebrated with Swagger.

(8) Dean Ambrose beat WWE World Hvt. champion Seth Rollins via Disqualification at 24:52; Rollins retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Surprisingly zero interference during this excellent contest! The first ten minutes or so were a little slow and then it picked up non-stop until the end. The ending came moments after the referee was knocked out by Seth by accident. Seth grabbed a chair and attempted to use it several times and Dean eventually got the upper hand with the Rebound Clothesline. Dean then attempted a standing diving elbow drop, but got hit with a chair in mid-air. Seth then hit him in the lower back with the chair for the DQ! (***3/4)

Afterward, Seth grabbed a mic and demanded respect from the crowd. He then hit Dean with a chair several more times and proceeded to walk off. Dean started to get up slowly, which Seth noticed from the ramp. So, he ran back to the ring with the chair and shouted, "Oh, that isn't enough, huh?!" He beat him down with the chair several more times, then attempted a Pedigree on a chair, but Dean reversed it with a back body drop. Dean followed with Dirty Deeds shortly afterward to close the show. Dean celebrated with the Laredo crowd to wrap things up!

Overall, really good show right before Elimination Chamber. Once again WWE provided another good one in Laredo!

(3) Lucha Dragons
