Jojo was the ring announcer for the night. She did a good job. I would guess attendance at around 7,000 people with a loud crowd all night as is typical for shows in Canada.

There was a video on the screen pre-show with Triple H firing up the crowd and doing his "Are you ready" routine. It's not as good on tape. There was also a Twitter hashtag question where we could vote if Lana would be at ringside for Rusev's match later.

(1) Neville beat King of the Ring Bad News Barrett. There was a pre-match promo from Barrett talking about the royal baby being born and how he was the new king of WWE. The "bad news" bit drew a good reaction when he mentioned no Daniel Bryan. They had a fun back and forth match with a lot of nearfalls for Barrett. Neville got the win with the Red Arrow, which drew a huge reaction.

(2) Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil & Darren Young) & Jimmy Uso beat The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) & Heath Slater in a six-man tag match. It was a basic six-man tag. Fans were chanting "chicken" at Slater for not wanting to get in the ring. Young got the win for his team with the Gutcheck gutbuster. Post-match, Jimmy Uso joined the PTPers doing their "Millions of Dollars" dance.

(3) Damien Sandow beat Bo Dallas. Very good promo work from both guys. Lots of laughs. At one point it looked like the ref almost got hit by a microphone. Sandow didn't do any impressions. He just insulted Dallas by saying things like how Dallas was gone for several months and nobody cared. Sandow won pretty easily with a snap DDT with Dallas on his knees, which is a move Miz usually does.

(4) Sami Zayn beat Erick Rowan. The reaction for Zayn was okay. It shows how a lot of people don't watch NXT, but there were still some "Ole Ole Ole" chants. Rowan didn't get much heat. He's a face on TV and didn't do much to get the crowd to boo him. Zayn didn't get a chance to show off a lot of his offense. No big dives from him, but he won with the Helluva Kick.

(5) Ryback beat Rusev. The vote for Lana at ringside was 90 percent for, 10 prcent against. She did the wave to the fans a lot. There were "We Want Lana" chants. Towards the end, she went on the apron and did the wave to cheers from the crowd. Rusev told her to leave. They had a better match than you might think with some good nearfalls. Ryback was able to hit Shell-shock for the win. The crowd was into him and chanted "Feed Me More" loudly.

(6) Charlotte beat Naomi (w/Tamina). The crowd was pretty quiet for this match. Perhaps a Naomi promo to explain why Tamina was with her would have helped. Some "woo" chants for Charlotte. Tamina held Charlotte's leg for a distraction, but didn't do anything else. The finish was poor with Charlotte getting a roll-up, only getting a two count because Naomi's shoulder wasn't down and then Charlotte held on for the roll-up. That made it look like Naomi was down for about six seconds.

(7) Tyson Kidd & Cesaro beat WWE tag champions New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods w/Big E.) via DQ; New Day retained the Tag Titles. The New Day act is great. The fans were really into chanting "New Day Sucks" at them while Big E. tried to encourage them to chant "New Day Rocks" although that plan failed. Kidd & Cesaro did a promo pre-match about how New Day sucks while also getting the crowd to get into the "fact" thing they do. No Natalya because she was in Halifax. They had a really fun match with Big E. arguing with fans at ringside. Cesaro was worked over for most of the match, fans chanted for fellow Canadian Kidd, and he was on fire. He hit a great dive outside the ring while Cesaro dominated inside. There were some nice nearfalls. When it looked like Kidd and Cesaro were going to win, Big E. ran in for the DQ finish. After the match, Cesaro did the swing spot leading to a Kidd dropkick. The crowd loved that. Best match on the show.

(8) Dean Ambrose beat Luke Harper in the main event. Ambrose got the biggest ovation of the night; the crowd loved him. They did the bit where Ambrose wanted weapons, but Harper kept tossing them away. They ended up using chairs, kendo sticks, and some tables as well. Lots of table chants all night, so when they were brought out the crowd went wild. Harper put Ambrose through a table with a powerbomb and got a nearfall. Ambrose came back with an elbow drop through another table. There was interference by The New Day and Rusev helping Harper while Kidd, Cesaro, and Ryback helped Ambrose. The crowd loved all of it. Shortly after that, Ambrose got the win with the Dirty Deeds DDT.

There was no John Cena, Randy Orton, Kane, Big Show, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, or Bryan, although he was originally scheduled to main event. It was still fun. My friend brought his five-year-old son to the show and he had as much fun as anybody there. That's what it's all about after all.

- Most Popular: Dean Ambrose, Cesaro & Kidd, Sandow, Neville, Ryback.

- Most Hated: New Day, Rusev for sending off Lana, Barrett, Harper, Bo Dallas.
