WWE European Tour Results
April 12, 2015
Cardiff, Wales
Report by PWTorch Welsh correspondent Tom Kennedy

(1) Zack Ryder beat Bo Dallas via pinfall.

(2) Lucha Dragons (Kalisto & Sin Cara) beat The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) via pinfall. Cara did a 360 back flip off the ropes into some sort of double clothesline. People weren't expecting it and got a big reaction.

(3) Stardust (Cody Rhodes) beat Goldust via pinfall. Cody had the most heat from the crowd. He trolled them by falsely announcing Survivor Series for Cardiif in November. There was also a mini-incident caused by a false finish. Cody kicked out of Goldust's finisher at two-and-nine-tenths. So, it took a while for the people who rush to ringside to get autographs at the end of every match to realise it was still on going.

(4) Dean Ambrose beat Luke Harper via pinfall.

(5) Paige & Naomi beat The Bella Twins (Divas champion Nikki Bella & Brie Bella) via pinfall.

(6) Ryback beat Kane via pinfall.

(7) Randy Orton beat WWE World champion Seth Rollins (w/J&J Security) via DQ when Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury interfered; Rollins retained the WWE Title. Match of the night. Randy RKO'ed all three after the match to send crowd home happy. His first RKO on Rollins got one of the biggest pops of the night. Orton vs. Rollins was really the only match the crowd were totally into, perhaps realizing they were getting the B-Town treatment.

This is the fourth show in a row I've attended here and each time I've noted how we seem to get the shaft in terms of the line-up when compared to other shows in different towns in the same day. Today was no different.

The line-up here was headlined by Orton, Rollins, and maybe Ambrose. The stars of Main Event and Superstars filled the rest of the card. Meanwhile, Manchester got Cena, Bryan, Reigns, Wyatt, Sheamus, Rusev, and Ziggler.

While a decent show was put on here in Cardiff, you yet again feel that you've been slightly short-changed. And there were plenty of John Cena and Daniel Bryan shirts at the show. Even during the main event, kids were fully expecting Cena or Roman Reigns to make an appearance. But, I don't think Cena has ever set foot in Wales. I don't think Cardiff has seen Daniel Bryan since his Team Hell No days. Constantly we get Orton. And usually Big Show.

I know Manchester is a bigger venue and they need to sell more tickets, but we pay the same prices for tickets. It feels like WWE offers the bare minimum they can get away with sending down here and totally load up the other show in the bigger venue. Case-in-point, this entire tour has featured John Cena defending the U.S. Title against Rusev on the same show as Rollins vs. Orton, but Cena was sent to the Manchester tour just on this night.

I don't think I'll be going to the next show in November. I've had enough of getting the shaft line-up wise or having the matches changed because they still need to sell tickets for another show in another town on the same day.
