WWE Live show results
March 6, 2015
Rochester, N.Y.
Report by VIP member Adam Prentice

Attendance: The Blue Cross Arena holds about 11,000 for wrestling events; The arena was at least 90 percent full or more. This was the fullest I have seen the arena for WWE shows in years and the crowd was also surprisingly very into the show.

(1) Dean Ambrose beat IC champion Bad News Barrett in a non-title match. Ambrose was very over with the crowd winning the match with Dirty Deads.

(2) Natalya & A.J. Lee beat The Bella Twins. The crowd was not into the Divas match.

(3) Dolph Ziggler beat Luke Harper. In real-life, Harper is a Rochester native and he receive a large mixed reaction of boos and cheers. Ziggler was very over with the crowd. Very entertaining match; lots of false finishes with both men kicking out each other's finishers. Ziggler won with two superkicks followed by Zig-Zag.

After the match, Ziggler reached out and shook Harper's hand. After they finished shaking hands, Harper hit Ziggler with a discus clothesline to a huge reaction of boos from the crowd.

(4) Daniel Bryan beat Kane. Bryan was over huge with lots of Yes! chants. Solid match. Bryan created a lot of movement and was very entertaining winning with the flying knee.

(5) Curtis Axel & Adam Rose beat Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil & Darren Young) and The Miz & Mizdow in a three-team tag match. Mizdow was over huge and teased turning on the Miz several times in the match. Axel won after he went into full Axelmania mode. He used all of Hulk Hogan's signature moves to clear the ring including big boots and raking the back. Axel Hulked up against Miz, gave him a big boot, and dropped the leg.

After the match, Mizdow joined Axel in the ring and Real American played while Axel and Mizdow did the Hulk posing routine for the crowd.

(6) U.S. champion Rusev beat Ryback. Solid match; Ryback was over with the crowd. Rusev got a lot of heat, definitely the most of the night. If Cena were not wrestling Rusev at Mania, I think Rusev vs. Ryback could have been a good option.

(7) John Cena beat Seth Rollins in a Rochester Street Fight. Cena was very over, which he usually is with the Rochester crowd. Good main event with lots of interference from J & J Security. Chairs and tables were also used. Cena won with an Attitude Adjustment from the second rope through a table. Even though Cena got a nice pop and was over, a surprising amount of people left at the start of the main event.

Altogether, it was an entertaining house show with a larger and hotter crowd than Rochester usually has.

Biggest Pops:

(1) Daniel Bryan
(2) John Cena
(3) Dean Ambrose/ Ryback

Most Heat:

(1) Rusev
(2) Seth Rollins
(3) Luke Harper post-match turn on Ziggler

One more thing, if you're not already you should Go VIP!
