WWE Live show results
November 10, 2014
Bournemouth, England
Report by Alex Beds, PWTorch reader

The crowd boo'd all through the Vince McMahon Network apology. Charles Robinson couldn't apologise enough, pretty funny guy. Eden was the ring announcer for the evening.

(1) NXT champion Adrian Neville beat Sami Zayn to retain the NXT Title. Zayn got one of the bigger pops of the evening but played heel after a couple of minutes. This match was excellent but these guys have wrestled so many times they clearly enjoy making the other look good. Both guys carried themselves like stars, especially compared to Fandango and Justin Gabriel later in the show.

(2) Natalya & Emma beat Summer Rae & Layla. Natalya won with the Sharpshooter. I really enjoyed this match. Summer Rae and Layla aren't great in the ring, but were great at getting the crowd back into the action. Emma hot-tagged Nattie after about ten minutes and the match over. Much better than anyone around me thought it would be.

(3) Justin Gabriel beat Fandango. Gabriel won with a Springboard Moonsault. The crowd didn't know who to cheer or boo. Fandango's music was over with the live crowd, but this match felt like two people going through the motions. Gabriel got a few cheers by default, but a lot of younger people were trying to figure out who he was and decided he was Tyson Kidd. Wow!

(4) Dean Ambrose beat Cesaro. Ambrose won with the new version of Dirty Deeds. These two guys were outstanding. Ambrose jumped into the crowd and moved like a rabid dog. Cesaro is huge in the flesh. I want to watch this match again. There was plenty of signature offence as well. I really hope these guys stick around for the long run.

[Intermission]

(5) Naomi beat Cameron. Bad match. Naomi fell into the ring and that's all I remember other than the other Divas coming in and cleaning house.

(6) WWE tag champs Goldust & Stardust beat The Usos to retain the Tag Titles. The Dust Brothers won with a roll-up after a splash. This match was one fall finish due to audience vote. Lots of boos from the crowd at that decision. This match went long - about 20-25 minutes - but Goldust and Stardust stalled for so long It got very boring and they lost the crowd after a while. The kids chanted "Usos" right up until the Usos left. Such a shame as I had high hopes for seeing Cody Rhodes live. I guess that makes them good heels...

(7) Chris Jericho beat Bray Wyatt. Wyatt went through a table and was pinned following a Codebreaker to send the crowd home happy

Overall, I'm a lifelong fan and this was my first WWE live experience since 2000. We got to see all of the action from the second row and we had a blast. The kids were into the Usos big time and the adult males popped big for Cesaro, Ambrose, Wyatt, and Jericho.

Hundreds of people were vocally upset that Dolph Ziggler was not on the show. For £70 a ticket I did not feel like this show was taken seriously by WWE. Since the show was announced, the card somehow went from having Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Daniel Bryan as headliners to Jericho on a fill-in, Wyatt, and Ambrose. I know it was up against Raw, but I think one more main event star would have made this good value for money. I love Ambrose to bits, but this show relied on him and Jericho far too much.

Overall, though, this was actually a much better show than the one I went to in 2000. It was a promising turn-out for a rare show in Bournemouth. Maybe 100 empty seats and a couple of thousand in attendance.

- Biggest Pops: Jericho, Ambrose, Usos, Sami Zayn.

- Most Heat: Dust Brothers, Wyatt, Cesaro (polite heat, as we loved him really).
