Report by Matt Massingham, PWTorch correspondent
PWG returned to live action for the first time since the middle of March. Since they're operating on PWG Time, the show started at approximately 9:25 PST local time.
The crowd is Standing Room Only with over 400 in attendance.
(1) Unbreakable F'n Machines (Brian Cage & Michael Elgin) beat RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) in tag action. Elgin won for his team with a Spinning Elgin Bomb on Yuma.
(2) Kyle O'Reilly beat Davey Richards via submission. O'Reilly won with a Brainbuster into a Cross Arm-breaker after Davey kicked out of the Brainbuster.
(3) Dojo Bros. (Eddie Edwards & Roderick Strong) beat Johnny Gargano & Chuck Taylor. Strong pinned Gargano after his suplex into a backbreaker while Edwards took out Chuck with a double stomp from the apron.
Next was Kevin Steen vs. Drake Younger. Steen wore an El Generico t-shirt to the ring to tribute the wrestler now known as Sami Zayn in WWE Developmental.
(4) Drake Younger beat Kevin Steen with a backslide. PWG champion Adam Cole ran in to attack both wrestlers after the ref was bumped, but Younger hit Drake's Landing on Cole, then pinned Steen.
[Intermission just before 11:00 p.m. PST. Still to come: 60-minute Iron Man Match and A.R. Fox & Samuray Del Sol vs. The Young Bucks.]
(5) PWG tag champions Young Bucks beat A.R. Fox & Samuray Del Sol with More Bang For Your Buck in a non-title match.
Time for the main event - Sami Callihan vs. Adam Cole in a 60-minute Iron Man Match. Callihan came out to Iron Maiden's "Iron Man" theme.
(6) PWG champion Adam Cole beat Sami Callihan 6 Falls to 5 Falls in a non-title 60-minute Iron Man Match...
Cole 1-0 - Cole with a low-blow and roll-up in 9:00.
Cole 3-0 - Cole with two straight falls via small package and brainbuster across his knee in 10:00.
Cole 3-2 - Callihan scored two straight falls with a Stretch Muffler and a Crossface submission in 30:00.
Callihan 4-3 - Callihan scored two more falls following a pair of roll-ups in 31:00.
Tied 4-4 - Cole pinned Callihan following a Straight-jacket Suplex at 37:00.
Cole 5-4 - Cole scored a fall via Beach Break at 42:00.
Tied 5-5 - Callihan hit a top-rope Death Valley Driver, then a lariat at 49:00.
Still tied 5-5 at the five-minute warning. Very impressive thus far, as it doesn't feel like the match has gone 55:00.
Cole 6-5 - Cole rolled up Callihan for a fall after Callahan hit Fade to Black at 58:00. Two-minute warning.
Cole wins 6-5 - Cole withstood the Stretch Muffler for almost a minute, refusing to tap out, until the 60 minutes expired.
After the match, Cole and Callahan embraced, but Cole low-blowed Callahan, then Kevin Steen returned to chase Cole out of the ring.
The faces then came out to wish Callihan well going to WWE. Steen told Callihan to say hi to the other "Sami" where he's going. Callihan then thanked the crowd and put over PWG. This concluded the show around 1:00 a.m. local time.
The next show is August 9, followed by two shows on Aug. 30 and 31.
After wrestling 60 min with @AdamColePro@OfficialPWG .... I'm gonna sleep for 6 days after I spend Father's Day with my pops tomorrow...
