PWG All-Star Weekend Night 2 results
March 23, 2013
Reseda, Calif.
Report by Matt Massingham, PWTorch correspondent
The final weekend show started only 25 minutes later tonight.
(1) Jay Lethal beat Willie Mack after three top-rope elbow drops.
(2) Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano beat RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) with the Hurts Donut on Yuma.
(3) Paul London beat Trent? (Trent Barreta) with a Shooting Star Press. The crowd was split on Trent, as some liked him and some did not. Solid showing by him, though.
(4) Unbreakable F'n Steen Machines (Kevin Steen & Michael Elgin & Brian Cage) beat Inner City Machineguns (Rich Swann & Ricochet) & A.R. Fox in a six-man tag match. For the finish, Steen hit the Package Piledriver on Fox, then rolled him into Elgin, who hit a spinning Liger Bomb for the win.
After the match, Steen cut a promo saying he got a text from new WWE Developmental signee El Generico that he could not make the show, and he misses PWG. Steen talked up the fans, thanked them for supporting PWG all weekend, and said he was pulling for Drake Younger in the main event.
[Intermission]
(5) T.J. Perkins beat Samuray Del Sol with his version of the GTS, but he falls back and kicks his opponent in the face before hitting a 450 splash for the win.
(6) Kyle O'Reilly beat Sami Callihan with a triangle choke and elbows.
(7) PWG tag champions Young Bucks beat Dojo Bros. (Roderick Strong & Eddie Edwards) to retain the PWG Tag Titles. Bucks won with More Bang For Your Buck on Eddie. The Dojo Bros. had the match won, but they hit a 450 splash on referee Mike Knox to break up a pin.
(8) PWG champion Adam Cole beat Drake Younger to retain the PWG Title. Cole won with a hook of the tights after surviving two Drake's Landings from the challenger.
After the match, the crowd gave Drake a standing ovation. No return date was announced as All-Star Weekend came to a close.
