The Arenas of Nîmes was built in 60 A.D for gladiators, so they made a Gladiators Battle Royal for the opening match.

(1) Christian won a battle royal to face Randy Orton for the World Title later in the show. The last two were Christian and Daniel Bryan. Participants: Daniel Bryan, Brodus Clay, The Usos, Yoshi Tatsu, Wade Barrett, Christian, Heath Slater, Ezekiel Jackson, Cody Rhodes, Great Khali, Jinder Mahal, Sheamus, Sin Cara, and Tyson Kidd.

After the match, Christian took the mic and said he will be World champion for the third time tonight. People booed him and he said he will come back to the USA with the belt and we will never see him again.

(2) Alicia Fox beat Natalya. Alicia countered the Sharpshooter for the win.

(3) Jinder Mahal (w/Great Khali) beat Ezekiel Jackson. Khali distracted Jackson and Mahal got the pin.

(4) Sin Cara beat Tyson Kidd.

(5) Sheamus beat Wade Barrett. Sheamus won with the Brogue Kick.

[Intermission]

(6) Ted DiBiase beat Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes via disqualification; Rhodes retained the IC Title. Cody arrived first with a bag and the Certificate of Mediocrity for Ted. He said that Ted is as mediocre as the Olympic of Marseille, which is a big football team in the South of France. Of course, people booed him. For the DQ finish, Cody removed his mask and struck Ted in the head with it. After the match, Cody attacked Ted, but Ted was stronger.

(7) Mark Henry beat Daniel Bryan. World's Strongest Slam finished off Bryan.

(8) World Hvt. champion Randy Orton beat Christian to retain the World Title. Big ovation for randy. People chanted "RKO, RKO, RKO" as Christian came to the ring. Next was a "You suck, you suck" chant," so he took the mic and said, "Do you know what you suck means in English? SHUT UP!" The match then began. Christian hit the Killswitch, but Randy kicked out at two. Then, Christian jumped from the third rope and Randy intercepted with an RKO in the air. Winner, and still World Hvt. champion, Randy Orton.

Randy Orton and Sheamus then celebrated with French flags. The show was really great. They were missing French commentators, though, and the show had less rhythm as a result.
