Tacoma, Wash.
Report by Mike Evans & Joe Neal, PWTorch readers
Not a very well-attended show. This was originally supposed to take place in Portland, and was moved a few months back. A lot of sections were tarped.
(1) Daniel Bryan beat Wade Barrett via submission with the LeBell Lock.
(2) Jinder Mahal (w/Great Khali) beat Yoshi Tatsu via pinfall with his finisher. Khali did get a few shots in on Yoshi from the outside while the ref's back was turned. After the match, Khali put the Vice Grip on Yoshi.
(3) A.J. & Kaitlyn beat Natalya & Rosa Mendes via pinfall in a Divas tag match.
(4) Justin Gabriel beat Heath Slater via pinfall with the 450 Splash. After the match, Mark Henry came out and beat down both men. He challenged anyone in the back that was man enough to face him. Sheamus accepted the challenge.
(5) Sheamus beat Mark Henry via DQ after Henry hit him in the gut with a steel chair. Sheamus got the best of Henry when he Brogue Kicked the chair back into Henry's face after a few shots from Henry.
(6) The real Sin Cara returned to beat Tyson Kidd with his finisher. Sin Cara looked rusty and confused for the first minute or two of action. It took him a few seconds to find the entrance curtain and he came out of the curtain next to the entrance door. He walked awkwardly to the ring. After a few moves in the ring, he looked really good. You could tell it was him instead of Hunico under the mask because his normal mannerisms were on point and his flips were smooth.
(7) Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes beat Ezekiel Jackson via pinfall with Cross Rhodes to retain the IC Title. Cody came out first and cut an in-ring promo about tonight being the re-birth of the Intercontinental Title. He said it used to be a prestigious title when people like Mr. Perfect and Bret Hart held it, but now it was tainted that people like Chyna, Santino, and Ezekiel have had their hands on it. He explained how he was so great and now the people would have a real champion to be proud of. Ezekiel botched the finish so bad that Cody had to re-do Cross Rhodes to make the pin legitimate.
(8) World Hvt. champion Randy Orton beat Christian in a Street Fight to retain the World Title in the main event. Orton won with an RKO. The Street Fight mainly consisted of the two men fighting over a kendo stick in the middle of the ring. Randy ultimately got to use the stick on Christian. Towards the end of this match, Cody Rhodes came out to try to help Christian win. Cody and Christian beat down Randy to a chorus of boos. Randy managed to RKO Cody in the midst of all of this. With Cody knocked out, Christian hit the Killswitch on Randy and looked like he was headed for victory when Randy kicked out of it. Christian cried to the ref about the count and after a few quick moves between the two of them, Randy hit the RKO for the win to close out the show. Joe Neal's comment: Another great match between these two! It was the match of the show.
