SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
TNA, through president Dixie Carter, announced Tuesday that Jeff Hardy has signed a new contract to remain with the promotion.
There had been speculation that Hardy would consider returning to WWE when his contract came due. TNA signed him to a new deal, though.
TNA has also signed current tag champions The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) to new deals.
PWTorch has learned The Wolves signed exclusive deals, but they can be booked for independent dates through TNA. The deals take effect in May, which is when they are telling promoters they are available for bookings.
TNA is looking to sign talent to these types of “exclusive deals” with the ability to manage their outside bookings.
