AZM simply said she’d do her best. Kyona said she was going to eat up AZM sushi.
(1) GODDESS OF STARDOM CHAMPION JUNGLE KYONA vs. AZM
A swinging sleeperhold left AZM out cold.
WINNER: Jungle Kyona in 6:18.
-Kid said this was her first singles match ever against Watanabe. Watanabe was surprised at that fact too but she was eager to break her.
(2) MOMO WATANABE vs. STARLIGHT KID
B Driver for the win.
WINNER: Momo Watanabe in 6:47.
-Hayter handled all the promo work, saying they were sleepy but they’ve beat all these TCS people at different times so it shouldn’t be a problem. Konami handled the mic work for her team. She said she wanted to go to a new height with them.
(3) OEDO TAI (Jamie Hayter & Artist Of Stardom Champions Kagetsu & Andras Miyagi) vs. TOKYO CYBER SQUAD (Goddess Of Stardom Champion Konami, Bobbi Tyler, & Zoe Lucas)
Oedo Tai of course attacked TCS during their entrance and fought with them at ringside to start. Konami avoided an Oedo Coaster. Kagetsu avoided a triangle lancer. Miyagi took a tag but she was unable to avoid the lancer. Tyler and Lucas kept Kagetsu and Hayter away and Miyagi tapped.
WINNERS: Tokyo Cyber Squad in 7:07.
(Pageot’s Perspective: Miyagi’s stock has fallen lately. When she first showed up she never lost whereas this now marks two in a row, following the significant “first defeat” to rookie Saya Kamitani.)
-TDS chanted like usual. Kamitani said the SayaSaya combination would not lose to the DeathDeath combination.
(4) TOKYO DEATH SQUAD (Death Hana & Death Yama-San) vs. 3838 TAG (Saya Iida & Saya Kamitani) – BLUE GODDESSES BLOCK
Rather than shake hands TDS chanted in their opponents’ faces so 3838 responded by dropkicking them in the face. Death rolled up Iida for the pin.
WINNERS: Tokyo Death Squad in 6:40.
(Pageot’s Perspective: With only one match remaining the Sayas have been eliminated from the tournament.)
-Martina was found passed out on Natsuko Tora’s shoulder. Tora was dressed like The Drunk Queens in a leopard print jacket and sunglasses, holding a can of beer. Martina woke up, realized it was Tora and not Sumire, and just shrugged and said “Come on.” They ran off to the ring. Meanwhile Nakano was finishing up her lips and Hoshiki wanted to borrow her eyeliner. Nakano, “You’re cute the way you are.” Hoshiki’s eyes lit up. “Really?!” “Yeah, standing next to me makes you cute.”
(5) THE DRUNK QUEENS (Artist Of Stardom Champion Natsu Sumire & Session Moth Martina) vs. DREAM*SHiNE (Wonder Of Stardom Champion Arisa Hoshiki & Tam Nakano) – BLUE GODDESSES BLOCK
Somewhere between backstage and the ring Martina found Sumire and replaced Tora with her. A roundhouse kick from Nakano caught Sumire in the ear. Stereo knees from both Stars put her down but Martina broke up the pin with a mouthful of beer. Nakano took out Martina and Hoshiki put away Sumire with another kick.
WINNERS: DREAM*SHiNE in 8:27.
(Pageot’s Perspective: Both Oedo Tai teams, The Drunk Queens and Kagetsu & Miyagi, have now been eliminated from the blue block. It will be either Hoshiki & Nakano or Kimura & Death in the finals against Bea Priestley & Jamie Hayter.)
-Iwatani & Kashima debated whether they had two points or four. They settled on the fact that they can’t make it to the finals regardless of whether they win here. (Zero mention of Iwatani winning the red belt at the last show. Strange.)
(6) STARS (World Of Stardom Champion Mayu Iwatani & Saki Kashima) vs. OEDO TAI (Hazuki & Natsuko Tora) – RED GODDESSES BLOCK
Assisted codebreaker from Hazuki & Tora to Kashima, followed by a brainbuster from Hazuki.
WINNERS: Oedo Tai in 10:24.
-Hazuki boasted about beating them. She said they have one more tag league match so look forward to it and passed the mic off to Tora. Tora asked the crowd if they like Oedo Tai. She plugged an Oedo Tai karaoke party at the end of the year at a local bar.
