This comes just days after pro wrestlers Tweeted overt and cryptic discontent with the trips to Saudi Arabia based on being held over in Saudi Arabia an extra day after what they were told were travel issues. WWE AND THE SAUDI GENERAL ENTERTAINMENT AUTHORITY EXPAND EVENT PARTNERSHIP
STAMFORD, CONN. and RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, November 4, 2019 – Following the historic Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, WWE (NYSE: WWE) and the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) have expanded their live event partnership through 2027 to include a second annual large-scale event. WWE and GEA also continue to work towards the completion of a media agreement in the MENA region.
This long-term partnership demonstrates WWE and GEA’s commitment to bring sports entertainment to the region and supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
I am shocked Vince would trust Saudi Arabia to an expanded deal when they supposedly dont even pay their bills.
I’m guessing there are details to this that the average fan isn’t aware of or privy to. Maybe the rumors we read on dirt sheets and web sites aren’t what they’re made out to be.
Maybe North Korea is next?
