ROH World champion Jay Lethal took part in an “Ask Me Anything” Q&A on Reddit Thursday afternoon that included the following topics covered:
– Lethal choose not to answer many of the WWE-related questions. One he did answer was whether WWE has ever approached him with a contract offer. Lethal replied, “No.”
– Lethal hyped his scheduled ROH World Title defense against Michael Elgin at New Japan’s Tokyo Dome Show on January 4.
– Lethal addressed the possibility of A.J. Styles not being healthy to challenge him for the ROH World Title at Final Battle next Friday. Asked who he would like to face instead, Lethal replied, “I would face ANYONE!”
– Lethal talked about pro wrestling being his only career path when he started as a teenager. “I really put all of my eggs in the wrestling basket. Their was no plan B for me. Maybe not the smartest idea, but i think its paying off,” Lethal said.
– Lethal also talked about getting noticed playing the “Black Machismo” character, talking to Randy Savage, the famous TNA promo exchange with Ric Flair, and other early-days TNA and ROH topics.
