NEWS ITEMS: MSG line-up change for day after Christmas, ROH signs Scurll and Osprey full time, TNA Impact ratings plummet

-ROH announced the signings of Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll to exclusive contracts. “ROHWrestling.com is proud to announce that both Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll have signed exclusive Ring of Honor contracts that will see both men compete beyond the UK tour!” Scurll announced this on last night’s Global Wars UK 2016 event in London (http://www.pwtorch.com/site/2016/11/11/1111-global-wars-uk-2016-night-two-sabre-jr-ospreay-shibata-nagata-dunne-scurll-liger-honma/). He also said Zack Sabre is moving to the United States.

-This week’s TNA Impact Wrestling rating dropped to 319,000, well below the prior three month average (August through October) of 344,000. The previous low this season was 284,000 on Oct. 13. It drew lower viewership the first two weeks of August, also, with 317,000 and 315,000 viewers.

-WWE has changed the line-up for the Dec. 26 event at Madison Square Garden. Now Kane & American Alpha team against Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper. It had previously been a Fatal Four-way with Orton, Kane, Bray, and Harper. The headline match remains John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose vs. A.J. Styles.

-The Dec. 28 WWE live event in Brooklyn, N.Y. at Barclay Center headlines with Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho in a “Brooklyn Street Fight.”

  1. When I didn’t see the show on the top 150 for this week, I thought it was going to do an all time low number again.
    But 319,000 viewers for the week. Don’t like that it dropped but still hovering above 300,000 consistently. Hopefully, it rebounds next week.
