New U.S. champion Roman Reigns talked to Michael Cole in this week’s sit-down interview.

Reigns talked about becoming the U.S. champion after beating Rusev at the Clash of Champions PPV on Sunday.

Playing up his character’s odd journey to the title, Reigns said he “lacked direction” over the summer before finally winning title gold again from Rusev.

Reigns said he humbled Rusev at the Clash and is proud to hold the title representing the U.S.

Cole closed the interview by suggesting the feud between Reigns and Rusev is “far from over,” implying a title re-match after their match on Raw ended in a double count-out.
