WWE’s weekly interview aired on Wednesday this week with Michael Cole interviewing Universal champion Kevin Owens… which turned into Owens interviewing Cole by the end of the segment.
Owens played up his smarmy heel persona taking exception to Cole’s questions and the suggestion that he is champion only because of Triple H.
Owens also said he’s not worried about beating Roman Reigns next Monday on Raw since even if he loses, which would create a triple threat at Clash of Champions, he just beat Reigns and Seth Rollins in a four-way match last week in Houston to win the Universal Title. Of course, that was with Hunter’s help, which will presumably also be the case at Clash.
Owens eventually kicked Cole out of his hosting chair to close the interview, reminding Cole that everything is the Kevin Owens Show now.
